Families and staff members who attended the Webster Central School District’s School Bus Safety Event on Thursday, August 5th may have been exposed to COVID-19.
This warning comes from the Monroe County Department of Public Health, which says people who attended the event should immediately self-quarantine and call the Monroe County COVID-19 Hotline at 585-753-5555 as soon as possible. Those with COVID-like symptoms should call their doctor.
Everyone who attended should also get a COVID test, and if negative, should get vaccinated right away.
At least two participants in the event have tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been exposed while riding a bus at the event.
