Six weeks before primary day, Governor Andrew Cuomo holds a two-to-one lead over his closest Democratic Party rival for the nomination.

Running for his third term, a new Siena Poll finds Cuomo has a 60-to-29 percent lead over Progressive Cynthia Nixon for the Democratic nomination. Even with the recent Buffalo Billion corruption trial, Governor Cuomo has a 67-to-29 percent favorability rating compared to 43-to-30 percent for Nixon.

For Attorney General, New York City Public Advocate Leticia James has 25 percent support from likely primary voters. Zephyr Teachout has 13 percent. The majority, 42 percent, are undecided.

Lt Governor Kathy Hochul leads for renomination with 30 percent support, but most Democrats are undecided between her and New York City Councilman Jumaane Williams.
