Rochester Police have identified the motorcycle rider killed in a crash on Lake Avenue earlier this week as Randall Griffin of Rochester.
Griffin was riding his motorcycle north on Lake Avenue Wednesday evening when he slammed into the back of a minivan that was parked at the curb near Britton Road. He was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
Police have been looking at whether the rider was speeding, and whether the van was parked legally.
