Rochester police continue their investigation of a mass shooting early Saturday morning.
Police say they were heading towards North Clinton Avenue and Kelly Street to investigate a large fight when they heard gunshots and ran towards the scene. They found at least two people who had been shot, called in support and secured the area, and began emergency treatmet.
While they were doing that, four other victims arrived at area hospitals. A total of six people were shot and wounded. All are expected to recover.
As police were securing the scene, a car suddenly drove away at high speed and crashed a few blocks later. Police charged the woman driving it with DWI. Nobody was hurt in the crash.
