For the second time, Rochester police are investigating an incident involving rainbow flags.
Police were called out twice early Sunday by Garson Avenue residents who noticed their gay pride flags had been stolen. A “Black Lives Matter” sign was also stolen from one of the yards.
One of the homeowners told 13 WHAM they put up the rainbow flag after incidents in November, when someone set fire to gay pride flags at homes on Atlantic Avenue and Marion Street. They plan to get even more flags and put them up in response.
