A Rochester high school teacher came forward Friday, speaking out about a sexual assault she says happened two weeks ago at the Franklin High School Campus. Police are investigating.
Corrine Mundorff says a 14-year-old ran into her classroom and tried to hide. Another student, a girl she didn’t know, ran into her classroom and began beating the first teen.
Mundorff separated the two, but as she went down the hallway to get help, the attacking girl turned on her. Mundorff says she was spit on, shoved and fondled. Other students in the hallway jostled to capture the event on their phones. It was posted to social media.
The district says in a statement that an altercation took place on October 8th, that the student involved has received due process and is scheduled to return to school.
Police say they are investigating a case of “forcible touching” at Franklin and consider it very active.
