Rochester police are investigating an apparent incident of gunfire outside of 12 Boston Street on the northeast side.
Police believe an argument there led to gunfire. They saw a car leave the area and stopped it on Joseph Avenue. The car turned out to have been hit by gunfire, but the occupant was uninjured.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, police were called to Emerson Street on the west side for a report of gunfire. While they were investigating, a 24-year-old man arrived at Rochester General Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Both investigations continue, and police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
