Rochester police are investigating after a dead man was found behind an abandoned house on Ames Street on Wednesday evening. The Major Crimes Unit is working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the body and have no additional details at this time. Any such death is treated as suspicious until police know otherwise.
