Police have confirmed the identity of the motorcycle rider killed Monday morning on Lake Avenue.
They say Timothy Scahill of Greece was riding northbound in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue about 5:15 Monday morning when he suddenly veered across the center line and hit an oncoming SUV head-on.
The 47-year-old rider was killed instantly and the people in the SUV were badly shaken up, but not hurt.
