Enhanced Rochester Police patrols and sobriety checkpoints in the city’s East End led to seven arrests early Sunday morning.

Police say they charged five adults with violating Mayor Warren’ emergency order that forbids groups from congregating on city streets overnight. Two more were charged with disorderly conduct as police were breaking up a crowd at East Avenue and Alexander Street.

The previous weekend, a large crowd turned violent at that intersection and two people were shot.
