mexican-village-barRochester Police have announced four arrests in the February shooting outside the Mexican Village bar on State Street.  Eight people were shot while leaving the club, and Ernesto Aybar died in the gunfire.

Police say the mass shooting incident started as an argument over stolen money inside the club that continued outside after closing time. More than 40 people were milling around when the first shots were fired, wounding three people.

The shooters then jumped into a pair of cars, and people in one of those cars fired a second volley of shots into the crowd. One of the cars then drove past the front of the bar and a third volley of shots was fired into the crowd on the sidewalk.

Police have charged Josue Delgado-Rivera with second degree murder for firing the shot that killed Aybar. Juan Luis Garcia, Efrain Figueroa and Jaimie Fontanez-Baez are charged with assault.
The evidence against them has been sent to a grand jury.
