Route 31F was closed during the Friday morning rush in Perinton after a pole fell during the night, bringing wires down into the road.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the closure was between Turk Hill Road and the apartment complex at Alpine Knoll.
Deputies say there was no vehicle crash; the pole simply failed and collapsed.
