New York State Police believe sun glare may have helped cause a serious crash on I-490 in Rochester Tuesday evening.
Troopers say the three-way crash happened on the off ramp to Goodman Street. They say 56-year-old Charles Campbell of Pittsford was riding his motorcycle up the ramp when he failed to stop, and rear-ended a car that was slowing down on the ramp ahead of him. The impact threw Campbell off his motorcycle and sent him flying into an SUV that was stopped ahead of the car.
Campbell was seriously injured and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. No charges are being filed against either of the drivers.
