The newspaper “Business First” has released its annual rankings of all Upstate New York school districts…and Pittsford Central remains in first place, as it has since the Buffalo-based newspaper started thee rankings five years ago.
They base the rankings on the latest four years of test scores and graduation rates from the New York State Education Department, plus U.S. Department of Education and Census data.
In second place comes the Fayetteville-Manlius District in Onondaga County, followed by Cazenovia in Madison County, then Honeoye Falls-Lima in fourth and Penfield comes in fifth.
Rounding out the top 10 are Bethlehem (Albany County), Skaneateles (Onondaga County), Brighton Central (Monroe County), East Aurora (Erie County) and Williamsville (Erie County).
