The Pittsford Central School District has sent a warning to parents that some students waiting for their buses were approached this morning by a suspicious stranger. The district web site says this may be the second time the same individual approached these same students. The district is working with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say they responded about 7:48 this morning to the area of Simsbury Lane and Whittlers Ridge, where they spoke to parents whose sons attend Barker Road Middle School. The parents said their children were approached at their bus stop by a white male in his 40s. He’s described as having black hair and wearing a dark, long sleeve shirt. He drove around the area in a black SUV before stopping and trying to engage the boys in talking about sports.
A similar incident took place November 9th.
