Monroe County Clerk Adam Bello and Sheriff Todd Baxter will hold three info sessions around the county to answer questions about pistol permit recertification.
The New York Safe Act requires people who got their permit before January 15, 2013 to recertify by the end of the month, which is coming up fast. Everyone who got their permit after that has to recertify every five years.
The meetings are Thursday night at 6:00 at the Ogden Town Hall, 10:00 Saturday morning at the Rochester City Hall and Thursday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the East Rochester Village Hall.
