SUNY Polytechnic has sold 115 Canal Landing Boulevard in Greece for $1.5 million, taking a loss of more than a million dollars on what it originally sold to the public as a site for high-tech photonics development.

SUNY bought the site from Kodak for more than $2.5 million in 2013. A Property Management Company working for SUNY quietly sold the building last week to the DDS Companies, which are affiliated with a Henrietta utility construction firm.  SUNY Poly had pledged to make the troubled site a center for jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars of investments in Rochester. None of that happened.
