A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 16 years and three months in federal prison for his role in a drug pipeline that ran from Philadelphia to Rochester.
Federal prosecutors say 33-year-old Jerome Randolph was convicted of conspiracy to distribute heroin. He headed the Philadelphia gang with made connections with a network of Rochester dealers. An investigation last year involving wiretap evidence found Randolph and two co-defendants transported the drugs to Rochester and the money back to Philadelphia. The two lieutenants have also been convicted and sentenced to long prison terms.
All three were arrested a year ago in March. The investigation involved federal agents, and police in both cities and both state police forces.
