A hit-and-run driver is facing multiple charges after causing a crash that left a 28-year-old man pinned under a car.
Rochester police say the crash at West Broad and Brown Streets happened when an SUV crashed into a car at the intersection. The impact sent the car spinning out of control and into the pedestrian.
The driver who caused the crash fled the scene but was caught by police. The pedestrian was taken to Strong Hospital with a lower body injury. The driver of the car that was struck was also taken to the hospital complaining of back pain, as was a passenger in the offending SUV.
