A man crossing the street was struck by a car Monday night at Pittsford Palmyra Road and Southcross Trail in Perinton.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the 25-year-old Pittsford man was hit by a westbound car. There are no crosswalks in the area. The man was taken to the hospital and was in critical condition.
Deputies say the driver couldn’t avoid hitting the man and cooperated with authorities. He will not be ticketed.
