A motorcycle struck a pedestrian late Wednesday night at 470 West Main Street in downtown Rochester.

 

The motorcycle rider was thrown off the bike, which went on to crash into a light pole. Both the 45-year-old pedestrian and the 35-year-old rider went to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries. The rider was more seriously hurt.

 

There’s no report of tickets being issued.
