A pedestrian is at Strong Memorial Hospital after being run over by a garbage truck at the corner of Chestnut Street and East Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Rochester Police say the victim was hit by a city-owned sanitation truck driven by a city employee. The truck was turning left onto Chestnut from East Avenue at the time, and the pedestrian ended up under the truck. Police say they don’t have any word yet on the victim’s condition.
