Serial felon Kevin Quander pled “not guilty” Thursday afternoon to charges of first degree murder and robbery in the beating death of a Rochester liquor store owner.

Quander allegedly battered Charlotte Lahr to death with a wine bottle while robbing her South Avenue store last month. He’s a double parole violator and according to 13 WHAM news, he has four armed robberies on his criminal record.

He’s being held without bail and will go on trial September 11th. Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley says she’ll be handling the case herself.
