Police in Geneva along with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a parole absconder at a traffic stop in Geneva.

Jason Singleton was on parole after being in prison for a 1998 incident in which he shot at Rochester police officers who were trying to arrest him on a robbery charge. They fired back and wounded him.

Singleton was also in possession of crack cocaine when he was recognized at the traffic stop and taken into custody without incident.
