The high winds that hit the Rochester area early on New Year’s Day toppled some trees and cut power lines in some areas, and also took down the Doug Miller Sports Dome on Route 104 in Parma.
The inflatable dome above the indoor soccer facility was shredded by the winds. Miller and work crews were on scene New Year’s Day salvaging what they could from the building.
Miller is working with his insurance company on the damage.
