A Rochester man in his 20s was shot on Cottage Street Sunday night. Police say the shot was fired from a house on the street, and grazed the victim in the leg. He refused transport to the hospital because the injury was relatively minor. No suspect is in custody so far.
Fire trashed a vacant house on North Clinton Avenue early Monday morning. The house near North Clinton and Avenue A was a two-and-a-half story that was boarded up. A second alarm was called due to the size of the building and the amount of fire. Nobody was inside and no injuries were reported.
