Monroe County says the Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge will open to auto traffic a week from today, on Thursday, November 1st.
That also marks the end of boating season as the bridge is swung into place across the Irondequoit Bay Outlet. That reconnects the ends of the Lake Road between Irondequoit and Webster, but closes Irondequoit Bay to boaters.
The bridge will be open for vehicle traffic until March 31st.
