The State Transportation Department will take the Patrick O’Rourke Drawbridge out of service for maintenance on Tuesday, September 6th and Wednesday September 7th.
The DOT says the work will be done 9:00 to 3:00 both days. Traffic will be cut to one lane during that time and the bridge won’t be able to open. Flaggers will keep alternate-way traffic moving during the construction periods.
Large craft that need the bridge to lift to access the Genesee River will have to make other plans.
