Two Orleans County Sheriff Deputies are facing charges of grand larceny and falsifying business records after they allegedly faked their time cards
New York State Police say Sergeant Dean Covis of Albion and Deputy Thomas Marano of Brockport filled out fake time sheets between November of 2013 and January of 2015. They received payments from a private security company while they also claimed to be working for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office at the same time.
Covis and Marano were arraigned on the charges and released on their own recognizance.
