A barn was destroyed by fire in Naples last night as seven fire companies fought the blaze.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a neighbor noticed the smoke and alerted the owners, then helped them try to douse the flames until the fire departments began arriving. They weren’t able to control the fire, which soon engulfed the building.
Two volunteer firefighters suffered dehydration at the scene and were treated by ambulance crews.
Ontario County Emergency Response and the sheriff’s office are investigating the cause of the fire.
