A pair of Ontario County sheriff’s deputies have been suspended as part of a corruption investigation.
Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson said this follows an investigation on allegations within the Ontario County Jail. He said Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley has been appointed as a special investigator at the request of State Supreme Court Justice Craig Doran, the administrative judge for the Seventh Judicial District.
Sheriff Henderson says after the investigation, he recommended the suspension of the two deputies. He said the investigation is concluded and this is now a personnel matter, according to a statement.
