An SUV driver is dead after his car was hit by a drunken driver on West Ridge Road in Parma.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Sunday night as a pickup truck was heading east on Ridge Road in the Westbound lane. The driver hit the oncoming SUV and killed its driver. The driver’s name has not been released yet.
Deputies have charged 34-year-old James Jacobs of North Carolina with DWI and Vehicular Manslaughter.
