A driver is dead after crashing into the garage of a house in Chili. The garage then caught fire and was destroyed.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened at the corner of Union Street and Ronnie Lane. The victim was found dead in the wreck. His name has not yet been released pending notification of his family.
Nobody in the house was hurt. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.
