One person is dead and another hospitalized after an incident in Batavia overnight.
Police say the incident occurred just before midnight on Central Avenue. One victim was found stabbed by the side of the road and taken to United Memorial Medical Center in serious condition. A second victim was found shot and taken to the same hospital by private car.
Police say one of the victims died at the hospital, but haven’t said which one. They say they’re looking for a red SUV that was seen fleeing the area.
