Rochester police say an aggressive pit bull was shot and killed by officers Thursday morning during the execution of a search warrant.

Police were getting ready to raid a suspected drug house when the dog charged the officers and was shot. The dog belonged to people who weren’t involved in the drug investigation.

That investigation is still in its early stages, but police say they recovered drugs and multiple firearms after their search.
