New York State Police have arrested three Florida men in Albion, and troopers say they’re part of a massive credit card skimming operation that’s fleeced hundreds of victims.

Troopers were called to the Albion Walmart on Tuesday after staff noticed them trying to use fake gift cards. One suspect tried to run and resisted arrest when troopers detained him. The other two men jumped in a car and took off, but were soon stopped on Route 98 by Orleans County Deputies and arrested as well.

Yordani Ramirez Salgado, Ernesto Alvarez Santos and Abel Garcia Fernandez were all charged with forgery, possession of a forged instrument, grand larceny and other crimes. They’re being held on $100,000 bail.
