A Nunda man has been charged with violating an order of protection, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal obstruction of breathing and several other crimes after a domestic disturbance.

Sheriff Tom Dougherty says deputies sent to a residence in Nunda found 32-year-old Curtis Yeoman had fought with a woman he’d been ordered by the court to stay away from. The argument turned physical and the woman was flung onto a bed in front of two children.

Yeoman had left by the time deputies got to the residence, but he was tracked down to the Town of Fillmore and taken into custody.
