Updated information released Thursday morning by the Monroe County Department of health says there are now 30 coronavirus cases in Monroe County.
Of the 30 cases, eight are newly discovered since Wednesday night. Seven of the 30 confirmed patients are hospitalized. There has been one death so far. The health department has put 195 people into mandatory quarantine.
Six people are being tested for the disease on Thursday.
