Monroe County health officials say there are now 22 confirmed cases of COVID-19 disease in the county.
They say one of those patients was contagious while on Delta Airlines flight 4824 from New York City to Rochester on Saturday. The patient has been under quarantine since arrival, and their close household contacts have been under self quarantine. The county says it is contacting high risk individuals who were on that flight. Anyone who was on that Delta flight or in the airport between 5:45 and 6:45 on Saturday is being asked to monitor their health carefully.
Meanwhile, the parent of a student at the Kiddie Academy daycare in Webster has tested positive for the virus. The center says it has contacted parents and health officials. The facility is disinfecting but will remain open.
