The Monroe County Health Department says there are now 18 cases of the coronavirus infection confirmed in the county. Five of those 18 patients are hospitalized and one has died.

Health officials have ordered 142 people into mandatory quarantine after tracing their past contacts with the infected patients.

Among the new positive tests is the driver of an RTS Access bus. Dr. Michael Mendoza says the driver last had contact with passengers two weeks ago on March 3rd. Passengers should no longer be at risk because of the time that has elapsed, so they are being contacted but not told to quarantine themselves.
