The man accused of killing Brighton businessman Edward Boucher last month in Irondequoit has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder and evidence tampering charges.
Christopher Warnle, 48, is charged with beating Boucher to death with a blunt object. His body was found in a storage area, beneath the back steps of the house where Warnle lived. Officers were drawn to the area because Boucher’s cell phone had pinged there.
The judge set Wernle’s bail at $250,000.His trial date is set for August 8th.
