The Buffalo Bills have had an underwhelming 2018 season. Now they’ve added an underwhelming 2019 Pro Bowl to that list.

When the Pro Bowl rolls around on Jan. 28 just before the Super Bowl, the Bills will not have any players participating, for now.

Typically players who are slated to play in the Super Bowl the following week will opted out of the game. In that scenario, alternates are named to the team. Per ESPN, Kyle Williams (first team) and Jerry Hughes (fourth team) are the only Bills players currently named as alternates.

The Bills not earning any nods to the game does not come as a surprise as the team did not have a single player voted into the top-10 of the fan voting when the first round of results were announced earlier this season.

Last season the Bills were represented by safety Micah Hyde, running back LeSean McCoy and offensive lineman Richie Incognito.

The 2012 season was the last time no Bills players were named to the Pro Bowl.
