New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says should the GOP healthcare plan ever be approved and signed into law by President Trump, he’ll sue on behalf of all New Yorkers to overturn it.

Schneiderman made his declaration at a healthcare rally in New York City with Governor Cuomo and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. The AG says his office has found multiple constitutional defects in the GOP bill which remain unaddressed in the revised version now before the Senate.

Senate leadership has pushed back consideration of their Obamacare replacement for another week because Senator John McCain had surgery over the weekend. Without his vote, the Republicans don’t have the numbers needed to move the bill forward over opposition from all 50 Senate Democrats.
