Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts says there was no shooter situation at the North Rose-Wolcott School Campus.
The sheriff says by Tweet that all buildings on the school campus have been searched and all children are safe and unharmed. Deputies received word of a possible shot fired at about 4:20 this evening. Deputies responded in mass, cleared and searched all three school buildings and found nothing wrong.
Sheriff Virts says deputies are working closely with school officials to reduce the emotional impact to students, staff and families.
