Two parents from the Nashville, Tennessee area are facing charges after Irondequoit police say their two-year-old daughter was found walking around outside with no supervision.
Clarissa and Ryan Webster were in Rochester to sell their converted camper bus to a family friend. They have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Irondequoit police say the child was found in the area of Seville Drive around 6:30 in the morning last Friday. Police say several hours passed before the parents called to report their child missing.
A go fund me page posted for their defense by the couple’s church says they were exhausted from the two-day drive from Nashville, and didn’t wake up when the youngest of their five children woke up early and got out of the RV where they were sleeping. The church has raised $47,000 for the Webster’s defense.
