A Rochester man who fled to Texas after allegedly murdering a woman has been released on $75,000 bond. Prosecutors asked for a million dollar bail because 30-year-old Ammenra Felton had already fled the city once.
A grand jury indicted Felton for second degree murder in the shooting death of 32-year-old Charlotte Thomas of Rochester, who was found in the road at Lyell Avenue and Child Street. She died several hours after being brought to the hospital.
