A couple in their 80s are dead after a double shooting Saturday at Rochester’s Wesley Gardens Nursing Home.
Police say 83-year-old Albert Greer was visiting his life partner, 89-year-old Bernice Dubin, whose health had been deteriorating for some weeks. Greer shot Dubin, then turned the gun on himself.
Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, and both were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there was no danger to the other residents.
