A 55-year-old Mumford man has been charged with criminal contempt and assault after an incident this week at a house on Leroy Caledonia Road.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says Alan Ackerman struck a 71-year-old man in the face at that Caledonia residence. Ackerman was at the home in defiance of an order of protection issued against him.
Ackerman is being held without bail due to multiple felony convictions.
