Three shootings in the City of Rochester late Wednesday night left one man dead and four others injured. One of those injuries is life threatening.

The first was on Wilson Street at about 9:30 p.m. Rochester police found a man in his 20s and he was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The second shooting came less than half-an-hour later on Frost Street at Genesee Street. There, three people were shot including a 17-year-old boy and two 20-yeear-olds. All were treated and are expected to recover.

The third shooting killed a man in his 40s. State Police say they found the victim on Weaver Street, and believe he was fatally shot while walking. It was Rochester’s 59th homicide of the year.

Earlier on Wednesday evening a man went to Strong Hospital after being shot at Avenue D and Harris Street. And about 12:30 Thursday morning people riding in two different cars fired shots at each other on South Avenue at East Broad Street downtown.
