The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has located Shawn McCready, and says he is safe after an investigation that closed Paul Road on Sunday afternoon and evening from Scottsville Road to Beahan Road.
The MCSO says they responded to a home for a person having a mental health crisis, and they were informed a “hazardous device” might have been involved. After clearing the area and searching the home, no such device was found. The person, identified as McCeady had left the home.

The MCSO says it’s looking for Shawn McCready, a white male, 5’4″ tell and weighing about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and a goatee. He left the residence on a camouflage-colored ATV. Deputies say he is not a danger to the public, but they want to locate him and check on his welfare
